A separate web site has been created to provide information in greater depth about Hilderstone and its history. The site contains information as to the derivation of the name Hilderstone ("the place of the warrior wolf"), the entries relating to the village in the Doomsday Book, other historical material, connections with notable people and events and numerous other miscellanea relating to Hilderstone. There is a real miscellany of information. You will see that even Robin Hood may have been a man of Hilderstone!
